Continuing...

I think I may change my daily on Habitica from a "do this every day" to a "consider doing this as part of evening routine." Clearly, fifty Dreamwidth posts has not helped me get any better at thinking of something to post about. I don't want to write about my doctor's appointment yesterday, or the errands my husband and I ran today, or the bagels I made. I don't want to talk about the minutiae of writing/publishing/editing. My life is boring, and I like it this way...

Hi, I am just wandering through my network and have a suggestion that has worked for me. What if you considered "leaving a comment on someone else's post OR making a post" to be your daily journaling? Depending on your goal for why you want to post every day, leaving comments might do it.

I used to post every day about nothing, if necessary. Yet as I've become more content with things, I find less and less to say...

<3 Do what works for you. If nothing else, you've tried to post daily about everyday things and decided it's not for you at all.

I have "50 blog posts" as part of my goal book, as well as "50 photos posted to blog". Neither of which I'm doing well at, but I try. Maybe a weekly goal is more up your alley, or pick something you do want to talk about to post (pictures, tea, crafts, baking... I'd be interested in the bagels you made!), or just be okay with you'll post when you post, when the mood strikes you.

...unhelpful comment is unhelpful.
