Thanks for the catches! I know I was repetitive with the roses, but that was actually sort of on purpose, though, er, I couldn't really articulate why. Maybe just because it's the strongest thing, IMO, tying the two stories together. Also because roses are awesome.

But I should point out, I'm not the only person to have noticed the similarities between Beauty and the Beast and Tam Lin: http://tam-lin.org/tales/tamlin2.html though I didn't find this until I'd already started the story!
