Thanks! Yeah, that's one of the things I really like about post-apocalyptic fiction, too. That, and when they find old stuff and have no idea what it is, but put it to their own uses. (Like in Blood Red Road by Moira Young--there are tons of CDs around and they use them mostly to scare crows and for other shiny purposes.)
