Jeez, it looks like I hardly read anything in April and I didn't enjoy it much. Which is... only partly true. I'm reading some books now that I started in April, and I'm enjoying them very much.
Nothing this month applies to the Reading Bingo.
I wrote 24,276 words in April. I also edited a lot. I'm pretty happy with that. My editing is definitely getting done a lot more efficiently than in the past!
I'm dropping my plan to make 50k a month my goal. Clearly that goal is not motivating me. I think that when I'm finished my Big Bang Mixup story (which should be within the week), I'm going to make "time spent" my goal rather than "words written"; I'll still keep track of how many words I get done, but I'll have a daily goal of at least half an hour spent working (probably one hour on weekends). It really ought to be more than that, but I don't seem to be able to stay focused lately. I already keep track of how long I spend writing, so I'll just make sure each day's work adds up to at least half an hour. Today's work does!
