12. What do you consider the five most "telling" interests from the list on your profile? Why?
Okay, well, going into my profile to look over my interests... I have a hundred and eighteen interests, which isn't that huge of an amount, and you want me to pick five?!

I guess I'll pick five, but I don't think I can really explain why they're telling. At least not today.

How do you come up with names and story titles?
Names for characters are fun. I tend to go to a lot of baby-naming sites, especially when I know something about the character before knowing his or her name. alfabette zoope is my favorite for when I know the first letter of the name; I also use the US Census website a lot, especially for picking surnames. I like being able to scroll up and down to see names that are more and less common.

Titles are much harder. I usually end up writing whatever it is, then picking out a phrase or something. (That's usually what I do for chapters of Chatoyant College.) Sometimes I come up with more interesting titles, but I honestly can't tell you where they come from.

All your telling interests make me curious. ^-^ Which is probably not very helpful, sorry. (I'd love to hear more about your interest in faeries most, though. Also Ereshkigal, whom I had to look up.)

Titles are evil. I admire everyone who is good at titles.

Heh, well, my interest in faeries is hard to explain. Ooh, wait! http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/4875612-clare-dragonfly?shelf=faeries Here you go, that explains it XD It is my second-biggest shelf denoting content on Goodreads--second only to fantasy, and of course everything on the faeries shelf is also on the fantasy shelf. Except for some folklore, I guess. (Which reminds me, I need to get back to work shelving everything I own.)

Ereshkigal is a little easier to explain, though still not easy! I'm pagan, and have been for... at least ten years, I guess, though I've drifted among, let's say, types of paganism. I've mostly settled down in my own unique form of Goddess-worship, which involves acknowledgement of all Goddesses as faces of the Great Goddess and the four phases of the moon, as well as more specifically my goddesses of "choice," Persephone and Ereshkigal. I put "choice" in quotation marks because I don't believe it was my decision. I've been drawn to Persephone since we did Greek mythology in fourth grade, and a couple of years ago Ereshkigal just kind of... popped into my head, demanding attention.

Yes, I love underworld goddesses :D I should add that to my interests, hmm.

'fraid the explanation doesn't work for me, but that's all right. ^-^ I probably wouldn't get very far beyond "I am" myself if I'd try answering my own question.

I wish I were good at asking questions... I think that's an excellent explanation, though. ^-^ Especially on a question that deals with things that are (or might be) quite unexplainable. It sounds quite beautiful. ^-^
