October's Books
Nov. 3rd, 2011 11:17 pmI keep forgetting to post this. Well, I've been distracted...
79. The Mists of Avalon (reread)
80. Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison - ** 1/2
89. The Erotic Poems by Ovid - **
Uh... yeah, that's all I finished reading in October. Wow. The Ovid was really tough to get through--I probably should have stopped partway through, but I was being stubborn. Oddly, despite NaNo, I suspect I will finish more books in November than October.
State of the TBR: 166.
I deleted one book without having read it, since I decided I never would, but I also added a book that I owned on Kindle but had forgotten to add to Goodreads. So I guess that sort of comes out even? Thus I've only bought, uh, ten books in the last month. I've said it before and I'll say it again: library book sales are my greatest weakness. Oh, and two of those were preorders, so it's not really like I bought ten books...
My goal of reading an equal number of library and owned books is, um, not going so well, mostly due to Kindle library lending. But I am keeping track and am hopeful I'll catch up.
