I always find the nearly-ubiquitous ads for Audible on my podcasts slightly amusing. I mean, it makes sense! Get the people who are already spending time listening to audio entertainment and/or information to give you money for more entertainment and/or information.
The thing is, I can barely keep up with the podcasts I listen to (right now I'm almost a week behind). I don't have time for audiobooks! And the ads usually go something like "want to read more books, but can't find the time?" No, that's not actually my problem at all. The time for reading is easier than the time for audio.
