Reading journal
Jan. 27th, 2017 08:38 pmI haven't actually been using the reading journal I mentioned last week all that much, but when I finished the book I was reading last night and picked up an Ursula K. Le Guin out of my TBR to read next, I suspected that might push me to write a bit more. I think I was right. It's a very short book, but so far I've filled nearly a handwritten page in my bullet journal: two fairly long quotes and one reaction.
I really need to make a comprehensive list of the Le Guin I haven't read yet so I can go through it systematically. I haven't yet found a book of hers I didn't like (though there have been two or three I didn't love), and they always, always make me think.
I'm kind of wishing I had the reading journal a few months ago when I reread The Handmaid's Tale. It would be nice to look back at my thoughts on it now.
