Garden of Prose followup

clare_dragonflyThe herb-themed Garden of Prose is over: the prompting period has ended and I've posted all the prompted pieces, though I still have more I plan to write on several of them! I think this call for prompts was a success, if only because I got a bunch of prompts I really enjoyed writing to. If you missed the list of posted pieces, it's here.
There are several things I'd like to do differently next time. The first two are things I intended to do this time, but forgot (I was distracted with writing!): doing the drawing for the signal-booster winner of the character name right away, and linking to each piece in a comment response to the original prompt as I post it. There's also a couple of behind-the-scenes things I want to do for myself, like keeping better track of my time. I think I'm going to stick with the same perk thresholds next time--15 prompters and $25 in donations--because I didn't fall too shy of them this time, and I think they're good goals for next time. Oh, and I want to get a Garden of Prose icon!
I'm also considering a perk for comments--maybe adding a certain number of words to the piece that gets the most comments? Feedback on that, and any other comments or suggestions you have, are welcome.
Finally, a poll! This poll has two parts: first, voting on the next garden-related theme, and second, voting on which story the mystery donation should go to, to add 300 words. (I've tried to contact the donator to no avail. Thanks, mystery person!)
