So many comments on my last post! You guys like me! ♥

I don't think I ever posted about moving to Maryland, but that's where I live now, just about halfway between Baltimore and DC, in an apartment with my husband and my cat. I kind of hate the suburbs, but we live directly next door to a park (which is awesome) and within a short distance of a library, so it could be way worse. And it's growing on me.

Hey, that's pretty good! I really hope they finish the construction on the library near us; it's been closed for the past year while they add space to it, and I'm aching for some new books!

Oh, that must be frustrating! We got lucky--it seems that we moved here very shortly after they finished renovations on our library. It's really big and nice. There's even a snack area.

Yeah, and I mean, I'm certainly not complaining about the library! It's apparently needed these changes for... a decade plus, I think? So that's long overdue! I just look immensely forward to it being open again!

Aww, thank you. ♥ Um... sort of? It's hard to judge an entire state, but I like the prevailing political situation, and the parks are great. I couldn't really say whether I like Pennsylvania as a whole, either--I just love Philadelphia.

Yay for liking things about the state! ^_^ I was mostly thinking of whether the broader cultural things agree with you, so I'm happy to hear it seems to be an overall positive development. ^_^

well hey, between a park and a library sounds good to me. I live very near a park and a library in the suburbs, too. But I live close enoguh to Atlanta to get their social scene.

It is pretty good! Though I wish the library weren't across a busy road.

My library is not quite walking distance. Perhaps it would be if I were not disabled, but I cannot walk there. :(
