That would be, "I am bad at posting" XD

17. How many people on your reading list do you know IRL?
Five. But only one of them actually ever posts here (that would be [personal profile] d_generate_girl).

18. What don't you talk about here, either because it's too personal or because you don't have the energy?
Oh, lots of things. I guess I save my energy for fiction writing. Plus I don't do much that's interesting! The most interesting thing that's been happening lately is my grandmother's illness (she's survived several bouts with cancer now) and pending move to assisted living within her complex, and... I definitely don't have the energy to talk in detail about that.

19. Any questions from the audience?
Um, I sort of did this already XD But please feel free to ask!

How much detail do you usually leave out of a story?
I don't leave any out on purpose. I basically write down whatever comes to me. I might add some or take some out on revision, but I'm more likely to just change the words so they're a little more precise. Though I guess I haven't done much revision in a while so that might change.

Where do you turn when your research is coming up with nothing of value to the story?
Twitter. That's been quite helpful in the past; once the answer was "they didn't exist back then," which was actually really helpful. If the question is something about history before 1800, I'll ask my fiancé, but that pretty much does count as research--in fact, just having a conversation with him counts as research sometimes XD

Optimally, how many times does your work go through the revising process?
Well, optimally, zero ;) Honestly, I don't know. Probably two or three times, if you count typo hunting as a revision. I've never actually revised anything more than once that I can recall, though. That seems to work okay for me (says the unpublished writer). I do pretty clean drafts, so my spelling and grammar rarely need to be corrected. I usually aim to fix word choice, flow, that sort of thing. And I need beta readers to find plot holes.
