Urgh, eye surgery
Sep. 25th, 2012 12:57 pmSo I had surgery on my eyelid on Friday! I will not go into detail because it is gross. I was really not expecting the surgery itself to be that serious, and I was definitely not expecting the recovery to be so serious. It doesn't hurt much anymore, but apparently the eyedrops I'm using--which I was using for a couple of months before this and never affected me so much--are making the vision blurry in my right eye most of the time. And this, in turn, has made looking at a screen super uncomfortable. So I haven't really been online for more than five minutes at a time since Friday.
I think it's better now, though! I mean, I've been looking at the screen for a while now, and I don't have a headache, though I still feel like I'm not focusing right. But at least I can actually read things on the internet. I'm not going to try to catch up on four days of Dreamwidth, so please let me know if there's anything you particularly want me to comment on from that time.
ETA: Whoops, I spoke too soon. The headache has arrived. Still, I got like half an hour, which is more than I've been able to do before, so maybe I'll actually be able to accomplish something today (besides knitting).

tarnished posted about wanting to work with someone on a webcomic, and she's doing the (awesome) art and I'm writing, and it rocks!
Today is the official launch date for Gifted, our weekly urban fantasy webcomic. It's also National Comic Book Day. So tell your friends (about both things)! And check out the comic!
